When students wish to be considered for ‘special consideration’ due to either being unable to complete an assignment or test or feeling they were underperforming for some reason, they completed a paper-based process. This was recognised as requiring an electronic system. to reduce paper, risk and duplication of effort.

I designed and implemented a SharePoint solution using Nintex Workflow and Forms 2013. Ultimately the solution had 15 workflows and supporting forms to manage the complexity of the different requirements.

To date over 15,000 applications have been processed using this functionality.
